this is me.

Oh hi! I'm Marta. Stay-at-home mama, hobby baker, travel enthusiast, book lover, and chocolate addict. I post weekly baking adventures on Instagram (follow mattiecake_mattiecake), and post my favorite recipes here.

My grandmother taught home economics for years, my mom is an expert cook, and my sister is a trained pastry chef. I just love to eat, so I took up baking my own treats. Sometimes I do custom baking projects, and I've done a few wedding cakes (two the month after I had my second baby, because I'm a crazy person), but mostly I make birthday cakes for my nieces and nephews, and bake goodies for my husband to share with his coworkers.
